Oh Spongebob…thou squarest of square, silliest of silly, dweller beneath the sea. I feel like Spongebob is so ubiquitous at this point in our culture that he really doesn’t need much of an introduction at this point. The cartoon manages to entertain kids and adults alike, so this might be as much of an interest to you as your children (assuming you have any).

At any rate, this collection is merely a repackaging of three previously available DVDs. Each one features episodes loosely gathered around three holidays: Halloween, Christmas, and St. Valentines Day. Naturally, if you like Spongebob, you’ll like this set. The downside is that there aren’t any new features here. The upside is that you are getting a ton of Spongebob for one lump sum. There are almost five hours of the show here, spread across 26 different episodes.

All in all, this isn’t a bad deal if you don’t already own any of the DVD collected here. If you do, then you’re better off just picking up the ones you don’t already have.
