Confession time: while I am a big fan of metal, most of the bands in this genre that I listen to are more recent groups: ISIS, Mastodon, Cave In, etc.

Brandon McHose goes electric with his latest release, Late Night, a four song EP that doesn't depart from his previous accoustic endevours.

Mirémonos is a band that hails from Spain, though their lead singer was brought up in the US, and their style is centered in the Indie scene with some subtle influences elsewhere.

Roscoe Dash represents Atlanta, Georgia and he is best known for his mixtapes and single (“All the way Turnt Up”) that featured Soulja Boy.

Are the 80’s back, because it sure does sound that way with Laura Wilde’s album ‘Sold My Soul’?

Over the past 25 years the band best known for creating some fast, hard, intense heavy metal music would be Metallica.
